5th - 8th July Truro	Cornish Cricket Festival	For two days Truro Cricket Club hosts a celebration of top class cricket; two high-profile professional matches and a star studded sporting dinner with a variety of family activities and events.
6th - 8th July Padstow	Padstow Vintage Rally	The Padstow Vintage Rally, inlcudes live entertainment on both Friday + Saturday night in the beer tent, a funfair,  and of course there are a vast variety of vintage + steam vehicles.
20th - 21st July Penzance	Lafrowda Festival	An annual event celebrating community arts with twelve hours of free entertainment to suit every taste, with street performers, stalls, refreshments, bouncy castles and three spectacular processions.
25th - 29th July Penzance	Penzance Litery Festival	Features talks on a wide range of subjects by best-selling writers, panel discussions on topics such as crime writing and writing for children and there’s a variety of workshops.
27th - 29th July Bude	Leopallooza	Exciting independent music festival, described as the greatest house party in a field, consistently showcasing the vanguard of new bands and artists in the UK and beyond.
28th July - 3rd August St Austell	Charlestown Regatta Week	A week of fun events for all the family including includes events such as the fun triathlon, raft races, donkey derby, live music and colourful carnival to raise funds for the local community.
28th July Newquay	Electric Beach Festival	Hip hop legends De La Soul set to headline brand new beach festival on the golden sands of Watergate Bay, near Newquay.
3rd - 5th August Penzance	Trereife Summer Festival	The highlight of this year’s Summer Festival is sure to be the arrival and spectacular landing of the Cornwall Air Ambulance helicopter.
8th - 12th August Newquay	Boardmasters Surf, Skate + Music Festival	Surf, skate + music festival situated across two legendary locations featuring the best in action sports including ASP World Tour Surfing and a laid back music festival.
12th - 18th August Falmouth	Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week	Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week has grown into the largest sailing regatta in the south west with more than 450 yachts racing over eight days, and a lively programme of shoreside events.
17th - 19th August Truro	West Of England Steam Rally	Stunning showmen’s engines with their gleaming twisted brass, road rollers, ploughing engines, heavy haulage road locomotives and agricultural traction engines.
17th - 19th August Penzance	Cornwall Design Fair	The Cornwall Design Fair returns to the glorious setting of Trereife House. The event is a true celebration of the quality and diversity of contemporary Cornish design. The Fair presents a wide range of contemporary design, with furniture, interior products, ceramics, glass, lighting, jewellery, textiles and fashion accessories for sale.
18th August Bude	Bude Carnival	The delightful annnual carnival procession through Bude. Money collected on the day is donated to local charities and organisations. Afternoon events are held in The Castle Grounds.
22nd August St Austell	Sleeping Beauty at Heligan	In 2012, Chapterhouse is performing in over 100 of Britain and Ireland’s most beautiful and idyllic garden settings, including the Lost Gardens of Heligan near St Austell, Cornwall on the 22nd August, at 7.00pm.
25th - 26th August Saltash	Pentillie Festival of Speed	A celebration of fine, historic and performance cars set in the spectacular setting of Pentillie Castle. A dramatic hill climb event where high perfomance cars of all eras and types compete against the clock.
25th August Truro	Cornwall Pride	An annual celebration of diversity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people in Cornwall, their friends and families. A parade, live entertainment, stalls and food.
26th August Penzance	Party in the Park at Trereife	This stunning venue is the setting for an annual music event. Party In The Park is all about Cornwall’s best bands performing in front of a capacity crowd, all under one roof. The event is being held under cover in marquees within the beautiful and historic grounds of Trereife Park.
27th August Newlyn	Newlyn Fish Festival	Celebrating all things fishy in Britain’s premier fishing port where you can satisfy your appetite with the best seafood you’re likely to find anywhere and help to raise money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.
28th - 31st August Bude	Bude Jazz 2012	Bude has been involved in staging jazz festivals for 25 years and is renowned world-wide for its support for the music.
